About Good Honest Products
In a nutshell, we make good, honest products!
Remember the home made baking your Nana used to make? Caramel slice where the caramel was the star? Unlike most commercially made baking which is full of ingredients you cant pronounce, Good Honest Products prides themselves in only using natural ingredients, no additives or preservative and not being stingy on the caramel!
All our slices are made using family recipes, in several cases, handed down through generations to our talented bakers.
Our range currently includes macarons, sold wholesale to local cafes and here on our website.
Our macaron range offers eight different flavours, using quality dark chocolate, real Madagascan vanilla, and Fresh As real fruit powders to produce great tasting macarons. Where possible we use natural colours to create the beautiful visual appeal of a perfect macaron.
Our Parisian style macarons are delicious morsels that have become very popular over the last year or two alongside a great coffee or the perfect pot of tea.
The focus of our company is to produce delicious, quality food with maximum flavor and minimum of anything “unnatural” i.e. preservatives, artificial colours, margarine etc.
We pride ourselves on two things:
Quality & Taste
The quality and taste of our product range, which features natural fruit and chocolate flavourings that are just divine.
The strength of our packaging, which means those delicate morsels will get to your door in great condition.
Our product range is available for sale online throughout New Zealand. Browse our product range to choose your favourites and get them delivered to your door with no effort required!
Steven Illenberger started Good Honest Products in 2012, when he couldn’t get a real boiled bagel in the supermarket. Steven has created several other businesses over the years and was then contacted to make macarons.
Word spread that he was back in the baking business, and we had numerous cafes contact us to see if we would go into bread and after some persuasion we did.
